Looking for a competitive and fun snooker near me experience? Join us at New Lynn RSA for our weekly Snooker Tournament, where players from all over the Auckland region come together for a great evening of sport and camaraderie.

Registration before: 6:50 PM

Start: 7:00 PM sharp

Entry Fee: $5

Tournament Rules:

• All games are timed to 25 minutes. The game finishes when the timer rings.
• Scores count, so play to the last black ball.
• If the object ball is snookered when the timer rings, the next shot must be played and points awarded as necessary.
• If the points are equal when the timer rings, both players will get the win unless snookered.
• After nine players, it becomes a drawn pair. Eighteen players is the maximum entry.
• If there are an odd number of players, the player with the highest handicap will play as a solo against the pairs' opposition. If they win a prize on the night, they will keep its full value without having to split it.

Handicap Rules:

• Winners and runners-up receive a handicap of 7 (Seven) and 5 (Five) points respectively for the next tournament.
• The handicap will reduce by 4 (Four) points for subsequent tournaments if the player does not come first or second.
• If a person does not play, then their handicap remains as is.
• Handicaps will start at 0 (Zero) and the maximum handicap will be 40 (Forty).
