The Gaming Machines are all operated on the card system. Your Membership card is used for this, or spare cards are available at the bar. This card can be played on any machine. Each gaming machine has its own note acceptor, it does not accept coins. Once your money has been transferred onto the machine, you will be ready to play. When you have finished playing, remove your card and any credits will automatically transfer onto your card. When you are finished, take your card to the bar and you will be paid any money due. All cards must be cashed in before leaving the Clubrooms. Cards taken out of the Clubrooms with credit still on them are taken at the player’s risk.

Please do not throw used cards in the rubbish!

Machines may only be reserved for 5 minutes, if you are away for more than 5 minutes you may find that your card has been removed to allow someone else to play.

Jackpots and any winnings – you must be a financial member and have your card on you to receive winnings or jackpot payments, or be signed in by a current member.

The TAB is open 7 days, from the first to the last New Zealand race.

We have TAB Trackside and updated race odds available. Sports betting is also available.

We have a dedicated TAB room as well as a self serve betting kiosk.

Friday night is club night with a live band playing in the Function Room with music catering to a wide range of tastes, rock & roll, waltzes etc. See our Entertainment page to see who will be playing on the night you are planning to come.

If you enjoy a good book, you are sure to find something of interest in our library. It is situated off the main entrance to the RSA, up the first corridor to left and opposite the door to the office.

There are comfy chairs there, if you wish to read in peace, or you are welcome to borrow a book and return it when you have finished it. There are also a few jigsaw puzzles as well as some lovely items on display.
